Yesterday in our weekly meeting I discussed about how I would like us to work with RFCs.
I would like to add this document to talk about how we should use RFCs. So this is a meta document. I hope not to trigger the need for a meta-meta-document ;).
Problem
For any newcomer it will be difficult to keep track of previous team decisions. RFC regarding our coding conventions, toolings, libraries, frameworks, are mixed with RFC focused on writing a specification to deliver features.
We need to separate RFC internal to our team about coding conventions. Code organisation, structures, libraries, framework choice, etc… To put it simply: tooling.
From documents that need our attention to find the best way to create a new specification with the goal to build a required feature.
